The AFROEQUALITY project, funded by the European Commission under the CERV-2023-EQUAL initiative, officially kicked off on the 17th and 18th of June 2024 with a successful meeting hosted by the coordinator, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
AFROEQUALITY is a groundbreaking initiative that brings together a dedicated consortium of partners including the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Convergence, CESIE ETS, Instrategies, and SCI Hellas. The project’s mission is to strengthen members of African communities in Greece, Italy, and Spain through comprehensive research, empowerment, and dissemination activities.
The project aims to build trust between local and African communities in partner countries, promoting gender mainstreaming and battling structural racism. It also creates replicable methodologies, fosters the exchange of practices among stakeholders, and establishes a dynamic in favor of POC.
